EISCO Multi-Range Demonstration Meter Set - Includes Range Box, 3 Interchangeable Scales, Leads - for Studying Working Principle of AC/DC Ammeter & Voltmeter

Interscale Demonstration Meter is used to demonstrate the working principle of an AC or DC ammeter and voltmeter with the help of three interchangeable plastic scales. A magnetically clamped, spring controlled moving coil movement is housed in a plastic case with Perspex front and rear panel. The interchangeable scales are boldly marked. The basic sensitivity of the meter is 1 mA – 300 mV full scale deflections. The demonstration meter includes an extended range box for voltage (DC: 5V, 10V / AC: 10V, 50V, 250V) and current (DC: 10mA, 100mA, 1A, 5A / AC: 1A, 5A). The box is provided with a selector switch for the setting the proper range of volt and current, and a switch for selecting AC/DC mode. Includes three different scales: - Scale 1: Dual scale 0-10 / 1-50. Use the following ranges from multiplier box: 5V DC (read upper scale as half of actual reading), 10V DC, 10mA DC, 100mA DC (read upper scale as 10X actual reading), 1A DC (read upper scale as 1/10 actual reading), 5A DC (read lower scale as 1/10 actual reading), 50V AC, 250V AC (read lower scale as 5X of actual reading) - Scale 2: 0-10V AC only - Scale 3: Dual scale 0-1A / 0-5A AC The meter measures approximately 12" wide, 6" long and 12.25" tall. Selector Switch Box measures 6.75" wide, 8" long and 2.25" tall. Banana clips measure 22" long, and each of the interchangeable scale plates measure 10.25" wide, and 4.5" tall.
